Have you ever entered into a relationship with a black man that was not originally from the United States? We all would like to believe Q-tip’s classic line that states “black is black” but there are cultural differences that will pop-up when trying to maintain a relationship with a man orginally from Africa. We all know that Africa is a huge continent and cultures vary from country to country but here are some of the general differences that one will notice when dating a traditional African man:
African men do not have the “gold-digger” issue. They will generally be more generous up front because in many African countries the man is the bread winner so they are socialized to believe that it is their job to take care of the family. African American men are so scared of “gold-diggers” only there to get cash so they will be less generous in the beginning. We have to earn their affections and in many cases prove that we are not there for just the money only.
Education is king in Africa. The men realize that having a degree beyond a bachelor’s degree is the great equalizer that can free them from the chains of poverty. Many Africans come to America to get an education so they may have several master’s degrees or a PHD. When entering into a relationship African American women may think that African men lack “an edge.” In our community, Swagger is king; we chase the men with the most bravado/street credibility. Sexy and dangerous can only go but so far, we are starting to value the educationed men more.
In America, we take monogamy very seriously. Any man born here knows that cheating is a no-no. When African American men do cheat they work hard to hide it because they know that we may end the relationship for this reason. In African countries when men cheat they are not as good at hiding the evidence. The women in Africa believe that all men cheat, so they will not leave their husband because he had an extra marital affair. But things are a little different now.

If you get really serious, A.K.A marriage, there is no such thing as extended family.“It takes a village to raise a child” is an African proverb which illiterates that his sense of community may vary from yours. In most caes they are expected to send money back home or take care of an elderly parent. You will have to be on the same page when it comes to this because apart of his income will be leaving your household regularly. They are also taught not to question their elders’ judgment, so getting along with his family is crucial. As African Americans we are taught to respect our elders but once we are all grown up we assert our opinions more.

SOUL TIES, DEMONIC OPPRESSION, and SPIRITUAL BONDAGE

The Bible speaks of what is today known as soul ties. In the Bible, it doesn't use the word soul tie, but it speaks of them when it talks about souls being knit together, becoming one flesh, etc. A soul tie can serve many functions, but in it's simplest form, it ties two souls together in the spiritual realm. Soul ties between married couples draw them together like magnets, while soul ties between fornicators can draw a beaten and abused woman to the man which in the natural realm she would hate and run from, but instead she runs to him even though he doesn't love her, and treats her like dirt. In the demonic world, unholy soul ties can serve as bridges between two people to pass demonic garbage through. I helped a young man not too long ago break free from downright awful visitations from demons, all due to an ungodly soul tie he had with a witch. The man was a Christian, and the only thing that allowed her to send demonic torment his way, is through the soul tie. Ot

MARINE KINGDOM / SPIRITUAL SOUL TIES

DESTROYING THE ACTIVITIES OF MARINE KINGDOM Texts: (ISAIAH 49: 24 – 26) “Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the lord, even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the lord am thy saviour and thy redeemer, the mighty one of Jacob”. (Job 26:5) “Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof”. Every spirit living in the water is known as marine spirit. Marine kingdom is the greatest kingdom of all evil demonic kingdoms. Marine kingdom is the most wicked, most populous, well organized kingdom, far away from other evil kingdoms, that exits in the Air, land and outside this planet. The headquarters of mari

Loving a Fatherless Man. What EVERY woman should know.

“It is far easier to build strong boys than it is to repair broken men.”  –   Frederick Douglas   RESPECT FOR A WOMAN IS ONE OF THE GREATEST GIFTS A FATHER CAN SHOW A SON.- Mimi Men are wired to “model” behavior.  A father’s main role in a home is to provide a “model” for a young boy to follow. He shapes his son’s masculinity, integrity and character. He influences his son’s understanding and treatment of the opposite sex. He prepares him for purpose and trains him to understand his role as a man. When a father is absent a boy must formulate his manhood out of  thin air.  While many single mothers have done a tremendous job of bringing up boys, a woman cannot give a boy something she has never possessed;  authentic masculinity. A generation of Fatherlessness has produced; broken promises, broken families and the rejected hearts of boys who have become broken men. What role should a woman play? A man’s deepest question will always center on his performance, “ do I
